Biology CLEP Achievement - Fall Semester

Students at Loranger High School have gone above and beyond in their academic pursuits by earning CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) credit, demonstrating mastery of college-level content while still in high school. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened doors for early college success and reduced future tuition costs. We are incredibly proud of these students for taking on this challenge and showcasing what it means to embody high standards for learning, honor, and service.

Tangipahoa Parish School System Moves Closer to Full Unitary Status in Federal Desegregation Case

In a historic step forward, the plaintiffs in the 60-year federal desegregation case involving the Tangipahoa Parish School System have signed a consent agreement with the district in the areas of Faculty and Staff Assignment, Teacher Assignment, and Student Assignment. Following this agreement, attorneys for the school system have filed motions with U.S. District Judge Ivan Lemelle seeking final unitary status in all three of these key areas.

TPSS Christmas Holidays

Wednesday, Dec. 17 is a half day of school for students. Christmas/New Year break is December 18 - Jan 2.

Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 5 & 6, are PD Days for teachers (no school for students).

Students return to school Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026.
